Clinical Governance
Implementing Clinical Governance applies throughout the practice and is designed to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients and improve the service that they receive from us.
The Elms Medical Practice is committed to providing the highest possible standards of care to patients and we hold weekly Clinical Governance meetings which all clinicians (GPs, Nurses, Paramedics, Pharmacist), and the management team are invited and actively encouraged to participate in, and contribute to the development of safe, caring and effective patient centred primary care.
The meetings are minuted and these minutes provide the framework to ensure that the practice learns from any significant events and implements best practice.
